I posted an idea 💡 long back in March 2019 on IdeaExchange to support Safari-styled reader’s view on Trailhead. This is a very soothing reading experience and easy on the eyes, especially on web browsers.
The following video gives a walk-thru of why such a reading experience can be more fun on Trailhead and also gives a simple hack to get it on Chrome and Safari.
Boosting Trailhead Experience – Next Steps
- Upvote the idea to get this feature natively on Trailhead and other Salesforce blogs and digital properties – https://ideas.salesforce.com/s/idea/a0B8W00000GdbfMUAR/support-safaris-reader-view-for-trailhead
- Install Postlight Reader extension for Chrome, it works on Trailhead and any other websites/blogs/etc – https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/postlight-reader/oknpjjbmpnndlpmnhmekjpocelpnlfdi
- Or use Safari’s reader view – https://www.makeuseof.com/how-to-use-reader-view-in-safari/ – you can make it open by default on Trailhead

- Hopefully, Brave and Edge browser users can also get the same Postlight Reader as it’s on the same Chromium Platform.
